Multi-Payment Instrument is a new feature that would allow customers to control the payment method for the various transactions they are performing. Users can use their linked debit cards, ReadyCash loans if they already have not taken a loan and are eligible to either pay transaction amount completely or split payments between their wallet and one of the two other methods (Debit Card, ReadyCash). Multi-Instrument can be used for the Send Money and Utility Bill Payment use cases only but will be available for more use cases soon.

Sufficient Balance:
Users when sending money would be able to make payments to various users and pay bills by the three various methods that a user can access depending on whether they have linked their debit cards or are eligible and have not taken any ReadyCash loan. If all three methods are being shown the users can easily pay through all methods
JazzCash Wallet: If user has selected wallet only then All amount used for the payment would be through customer wallet.
Debit Card: If user has selected debit card only then all amount used for the payment would be through linked debit card
ReadyCash: If user has selected ReadyCash only then all amount used for the payment would be through ReadyCash loan

Insufficient Balance (Split Payment):
Users can avail the features of splitting their payments from their wallet and either their linked debit card or ReadyCash loan. Wallet balance would be used in this case by default and user can either use one of the additional payment methods ( linked debit card and ReadyCash loan) which they can use for the remaining balance that would be remaining to complete the transaction.
JazzCash Wallet & Debit Card: When sending money or paying a bill, users would select split payment and select linked debit card as an additional method for payment. Wallet balance would be used, and remaining balance would be taken from their debit card transferred into their JazzCash wallet and the transaction would be completed successfully.
JazzCash Wallet & ReadyCash: When sending money or paying a bill, users would select split payment and select ReadyCash as an additional method for payment. Wallet balance would be used, and remaining balance would be taken from the ReadyCash loan transferred into their JazzCash wallet and the transaction would be completed successfully.

Insufficient Balance (Add Money):
Users can also add money through their choice of add money features such as Deposit via Debit Card, Request Money, Deposit via Bank Account and other add money features. Users would be able to select add money from the review payment screen and use their selected choice to add money into their JazzCash wallet. Once the payment is received, the transaction would be completed.
In what use cases can this be feature be used?
The Multi-Instrument Payment feature can right now be used for the Send Money (C2C,IBFT,Credits, Other Wallet payments) and Utility bill payments as of now, functionality for more use cases would be available soon
Can I link my Debit Card more than once?
You can link your debit card for not more than five times a month therefore if you are trying to link you debit card for the sixth time then an error would be shown
Can I use the additional payment methods if I have no debit card linked?
You can only use this additional payment methods if debit card is linked
Can I use the additional payment method if I have a ReadyCash loan?
You can only use this additional payment method if you are eligible for a ReadyCash loan and have taken a ReadyCash loan prior.
Why is my transaction being delayed?
Since two separate flows are being used and merged into one for customer ease therefore transactions can be delayed by 1min depending on the transaction and additional payment method being used
What is the main reason for this feature?
This feature has been introduced in order to allow customers with the ease of having to add money into their account or split their payments without having to back out of their current transaction
How many debit cards can I link to my JazzCash account?
Users can link up to two debit cards to their JazzCash account to use for performing their daily transaction.
Why is there a delay when i am performing a transaction?
There is a delay when user would be performing a transaction in during split-payment, delay would depend on use case to use case being performed such as:- C2C,IBFT. Delay would not exceed more that 30 seconds due to first amount being brought from either debit card/Readycash to wallet and then transaction being completed.
